Tsunoshima

16th June - Cloudy afternoon.
Together with Imamoto and friend, we visited to Tsunoshima, located on the west side of Yamaguchi prefeture. Surfers' popular site and a light house located near to the edge of this island.
I really need a break from work stress. So I really appreciate their effort to take me along for this relaxing trip. Suddenly, I felt much better after walking on the beach, taking photos.
The white balance (WB) was a bit difficult to adjust. But I should be happy after all those post processed. ^^;
We didn't stay up late for the sunset. (sigh...)
What a wonderful day indeed !!

Evening walk

Sunny evening walk - 10th June

My prepaid phone run out of credit, so I decided to go for a walk to upload my credit. Brought my camera along just in case, there is anything interesting to shoot at.
I realised my photos have been back-logged since golden week. The more I shot, the more the digital workload will be. So this weekend, I think I will post those photos directly captured from my camera. Later, I will post processing those NEFs (Raw files) for comparison.

Damn the sky has been over exposured! At least the Padi field reflection looks good enough.

Legend said this white fox heal its fox by dripping into the foot bath around Yuda area.

Since then, this foot bath became very popular among old timers...

After tightly cropped. But the exposure and colour is a bit off.

Rule of third method (Not a good example though...)

Nikon D70 Standard lense (18-70mm) still can produce such impressive photo.

My favourite spot..... Seeing those changes during four season really breathtaking.

On the way back.... Sky getting darker. Forgot to pump up the ISO or using flash.

Hope Photoshop CS2 can fix them later.

Kids' Photo (Part2)

3 June 2007 - Rainy Morning.
Location: Hofu Military Training Airbase.

That morning, I went with Suizu-san's family for annual airbase exhibition. This photo shooting condition is really tough, not only it was raining in the morning. The white balance (WB) for this condition is really tough to handle. I chose cloudy WB, but still need lots of post processing again.
As against with Nikon D40 which belongs Suizi-san, this latest camera image processor is simply brillant! The colour tone was natural for JPEG output. On that day, I have the opportunity to try out Nikon AF-D 70-300mm lense. (Thanks Suizu-san) I have shot around 100++ photos with this lense, after post processing using Adobe Camera RAW(R), I will post this result later.
It was impressive. I guess I ought to go for AF-S VR 70-300mm soon...Hehehehehe
